STACIA KRAFT

was trained at the New England Conservatory, and performs at concert venues throughout the northeast. She has performed a broad range of styles: opera, art song, folk, gospel, cabaret & comedy with the Boston Opera Company, at The Lenox Hotel, Club Café, the Boston Theatre District, and as Artist-in-Residence at The Dover Church.

With a superb group of swinging musicians, her most recent house concerts JAZZ ON FEDERAL resemble a cross between a Victorian parlor recital and a New York speakeasy. These concerts are eclectic, spontaneous and soulful; and have been an underground cultural staple of the North Shore of Boston. As composer James Woodman describes, “Stacia is a spell-binding communicator. She effortlessly conjures up entire worlds.  The experience is unforgettable; don’t miss her.”

You can hear her album MIDNIGHT SUN with pianist Doug Hammer on CDBaby, Amazon, ITunes and Spotify. Influences for this collection include Ella Fitzgerald, Jo Stafford, Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone.

 DiskUNION Tokyo review:

“In the Torch song genre, this may be one of the top 10 performances. Very rich vocal.”

Look for her new album BLUE MOON featuring Joe Reid, piano

Miki Matsuki, drums   David Landoni, bass   Tom Duprey, trumpet

& Sam Draper, violin
